Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight. If the freight charges for your Shopping Cart look incorrect, please save the cart and call or email us. We will review it for accuracy.

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
Our suppliers will not allow us to ship a bicycle to you. They believe, and rightly so, that your bike needs to be properly fitted to you. You should come into the store where one our Factory Certified Fit Specialists will provide the personal service that you deserve. Our staff is salaried and trained to recommend the products that best fit you. Our staff will exceed your expectations!
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. We never save your credit card information. It is deleted automatically as soon as the transaction is processed.
We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.
If there is a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please call us before shipping anything back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). If we made an error (ex: shipped an incorrect item), we will refund applicable shipping costs.
All merchandise must be in new and unused condition, in its original, complete and undamaged manufacturer packaging and with all tags attached. For your safety all nutrition, food, and drink items are not returnable. See below for more info.
The original invoice must accompany your return. Merchandise returned that we special-ordered for you or that appears used will not be accepted for return. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.) Items that have been washed, assembled or installed are not considered new and unused.
Returns shipped to us must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or email.

If you purchase something from us and are not happy with the performance, you should tell us and we will come up with a reasonable solution. Our customers are our biggest advocates and our goal is to always do what is fair.
Adventure Cycling will only reimburse return shipping on defective or damaged items. you will be reimbursed for postal priority insured or ups ground service only. Any packing fees charged by mailing service will not be refunded.
We honor all manufacturers’ warranties. The item must be inspected by Adventure Cycling and/or the manufacturer before an item can be deemed a warranty.
